My inbox is a mess. Is this really for me?

Yes. You don’t need to organize anything before you begin. The Builder helps you think through what’s happening now and what you’d like handled differently.

What is this?

A guided tool that helps you create the rules and decisions your AI Email Agent will need. The more detailed your information is during this process the better your AI Agent can do its work on a daily basis for you. At the end of completing the 8 steps with the Builder you will receive a txt file to drop into your prompt.

Will it help me organize my inbox?

Absolutely. It helps you decide what stays visible, what can be organized, what needs attention, and where your Agent should stop and ask for more instructions.

What if I use Yahoo or AOL for my email platform. Will it work with them?

You can use the Builder for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, iCloud, and really almost any email platform, because the planning itself is platform-neutral.

Where things change is whether you can use an agent that can actually make changes and decisions automatically once you move from planning into implementation.

Here are the details: 

Gmail is strong because Google provides the ability to work through AI Agents directly to clean up your inbox.

Outlook is also very strong. Microsoft now lets Copilot manage inbox rules in natural language, including moving, categorizing, archiving, deleting, and creating or changing rules. That is, if it is Microsoft 365. If you aren’t using Microsoft 365, we would need to manage the tasks as filters.

Yahoo and AOL can still use the details from the txt file to create filters and folder-routing rules, but they’re more limited than Gmail or Microsoft 365 for building a true AI-driven agent directly inside the inbox. Yahoo supports filters with ordered rules, and AOL supports up to 500 filters that sort incoming mail into folders or trash.

So, yes, The Builder works with any email platform.
It helps you create the rules, exceptions, priorities, labels/folders, and guardrails.
The implementation is where it changes slightly, as the path depends on the platform.

• Gmail / Google Workspace: strongest fit for direct automation
• Outlook / Microsoft 365: also a very strong fit, especially with Copilot and Exchange Online
• Yahoo / AOL: good for rules, folders, filtering, and some automation, but not as sophisticated natively
• iCloud / other IMAP accounts: Planning still works, but implementation may rely more on the email client, rules, or an outside automation layer.

Do I have to figure this out alone?

No. The Builder is designed to make the process easier. For those who want our assistance, we can provide prompts and guidance along the way while you are working with the Builder so you can move through it quickly without having to figure out what to ask AI on your own.

Once you complete the Builder, you can create your own prompt using the .txt file, or Interlace can help turn it into a personalized AI Email Agent prompt and work with you to get your Agent set up and working the way you want.

Do I need to know how to write an AI prompt?

It depends on what direction you would like to go. We will ask you before you begin whether or not you would like our help.

Then, you focus on how you want your email handled. Should you choose our prompt service, we’ll turn your completed plan into the AI instructions your Email AI Agent needs.

Do I need to connect my email account?

No. You do not need to connect Gmail, Outlook or another email account to use the Builder.

Where is my planning information stored?

Your detailed planning information stays on the device and browser you’re using while you work.
NOTE: It is important that you Accept Cookies so that it CAN save the plans that the Builder creates from your exercise with it.

How long can I use the Builder?

You’ll have 14 days to use the Builder Need longer? Additional 14-day access can be purchased.
With that said, you can easily have the Builder process completed in 3 days or less, depending on the amount of emails in your inbox and whether or not Interlace is helping you with the Builder process.
The better questions is this, why do we even have a deadline? Cookies!!! We respect your privacy and want you to complete the process as quickly as possible. We also know that focusing on this project is not your priority.
